Woodford Guest House in old farm

Great location. Loved the donkeys. Very easy to access (even though there was a lot of steps to go down.) Good parking. Good price for 2 bedrooms.

The property could do with a really good clean. The twin bedroom was damp and smelled musty. The radiator was very noisy during our last night. The twin bed had an uncomfortable mattress.

The spacious accommodation is nicely located in the rural outskirts of Killarney, with a nice garden and an excellent view of the surrounding mountains.

The accommodation looks a bit old-fashioned but doesn't lack anything essential, though it is quite difficult to discover how the shower works. Sometimes a bit noisy from the neighbours' running water through the sewerage (?)

The conservatory was great but lacked a bit of privacy ( maybe a curtain would help )

We loved the location. A short drive to Killarney but feels a world away. We loved looking out at the view of the mountains and the donkeys. The cottage suited us very well. It was lovely and warm and the addition of the electric blankets on the beds was a lovely touch.

The kitchen could have been a little better equipped with utensils etc, and there was some noise transference from upstairs. There’s no curtains in the sun room/ living space, and we felt there was not enough privacy. But these are all minor!
