Period Retreat for 6, explore the Lake District

The property is a good size for six adults and nice and clean. The living room, dining room and kitchen is in one open area which still feels cosy. Location is walking distance to the train station and town centre.

The house is beautiful, tastefully decorationed with lovely original fireplace and stain glass door. The house had well stocked items needed in the kitchen and the whole place was lovely and clean. The location is great a little 10min stroll to the city centre we can highly recommend a visit.

Tranquil decor and a quiet street make this house easy to relax into. Add comfy beds and the luxury of two bathrooms (with a family of four this is appreciated!) and it's a great base to explore Lancaster from, just a short walk over the bridge from the castle and the city centre.

The kitchen fit-out is a bit basic, and the kitchen cleaner missed a few parts. My list of points didn't get a response from the hosts. The steep stairs could be challenging.
