Really clean property and it smelt fresh on entry. Great communication from host. Parking space was helpful and WiFi great throughout. The bottle of prosecco was a nice touch and tea/coffee being available. Lots of space which is great for a group of friends to not get under each others feet. Took about 25 mins to walk into the centre of town which was fine for us. We didn't use the hot tub or pizza oven in the garden, but for some this would be an added bonus.

As others have mentioned the road to the property is really bumpy/pot holey but this isn't the hosts fault. Could do with a few more towels so that there's enough to use for both shower & hot tub.

Owners were brilliant & communicated well. Property was clean & comfy. Location made it easy to get into the town & recommendations for activities & restaurants was helpful. Great dog walks nearby. A super place to stay!

Entrance road is poor. Not the owners fault at all but made for interesting travel (bouncy). Everything else is great though!

We were let down at the very last minute by our previous booking and Donna really pulled out all the stops to ensure we could stay in the property, beautiful house, lovely and clean, all the cooking facilities and equipment you could need, lovely warm shower, could not have been better. Thank you Donna

The approach to this house is not what I expected. A derelict boarded up building on the corner of the street. Unadopted roads with multiple potholes, with no drainage or street lights. Not at all welcoming. There was a small parking space directly outside the door. Dogs are welcome but there was no gate on the front to prevent dog running out. Next door had a bed base and mattress in the garden. I read from other reviews that Prosecco was left in fridge for visitors arrival but not on this occasion. Not as it would have persuaded me to give a higher score. As you enter the property the flooring is cracked and loose. There were blinds but no curtains in the lounge nor was there a rug or table lamp, very basic. The rear lounge diner was the same basic layout , with dirty marks on the wall. A faded and torn couch. The kitchen was well equipped. There were crumbs under the microwave. Small fruit flies everywhere, there was a swarm. Outside a rather scruffy back yard, overlooked in every direction. Using the hot tub was not a private affair. We booked this place because it had a hot tub. The first thing we did was to get in it. There was no smell of chlorine which made me a bit suspicious but we got in anyway. Once the bubbles started there was a smell of perfume. There was thick black grease on the edge. After getting out my skin felt greasy and I needed a shower. We did not use the hot tub again. The pizza area looked really unhygienic and we didn’t use it. the bathroom was lovely and clean. We pulled the blind down as it was overlooked by neighbours. Personally I would have liked to have seen a non slip bath mat in the bath and a grab rail to get into the bath. The shower screen was a bit wobbly as it was only fixed to one wall. 2 bath towels but no hand towels. The bedrooms were all overlooked so we had to keep curtains closed all the time. The flooring to the main bedroom is laminate flooring and it had lifted and moved every time I stepped on it.
