"Superb"

Barge cottage was home from home, everything you needed was there, down to washing and dishwasher tabs and a lovely vase of roses on the table.. Very frosty when we went, winter wonderland. Heating was on and the cottage was cosy in every room. In fact, we had to turn it down. 👍 Beryl came to see us when we arrived to make sure we were settled in ok. Lovely lady with a dry wit and a twinkle in her eye. ✨️ ❤️

"Clean, comfortable, warm - home from home. What more can we want?"

We live in a quiet rural location so are easily disturbed by noise. Despite being on the main road through the village, we find the location very peaceful (have stayed here before) - except on the odd occasions when aircraft from Marham fly overhead. Plenty of space downstairs for a party of 8 to socialise (on this occasion we had booked both No 1 & 2).

"Fantastic Grounds"

Beautiful location with a rive running along the grounds. Over 2 miles to walk round it. The cottage is very clean and the beds are comfortable. The cottage is on a main road so it can be rather noisy, but the location more than makes up for that. The hosts were very friendly and even allowed my sons to fish in their pond. Would definitely stay again.

It was clean & comfortable. Lovely river walk from the door.

The lighting was very bright, even the small bedside lamps & no lamp to subdue the lighting in the lounge area.

"Home from Home"

We had a fabulous week at Barge Cottages. Was like home from home, the cottage is clean, spacious and well equipped. In a fantastic area with so much to see around it. Beautiful walk on site along the river, tranquil and very peaceful. Beryl was a great host very friendly.

If I'm being really picky bigger towels would've been lovely, everything amazing.

"It was an ideal base for us to explore Norwich and the surrounding area."

The location was a big bonus. The view from the windows was stunning, and we enjoyed walking to the bone Mill. There were plenty of fans because it was warm in the evenings.

Nothing. The planes from RAF Marham could be noisy but it wasn't an issue.
