Warm, clean and comfortable cottage, ideally situated to explore Scotland or (as we did) to stay overnight on a journey. The cottage has everything you could need & the bread, milk & butter, tea & coffee were much appreciated. Lovely bedrooms. The host’s emails before arrival were welcoming & informative.

The upstairs loft room is accessed via a ladder (clearly stated in the property details), which felt a little unstable, so would not be suitable for the less agile or nervous visitor.

"Lovely cosy cottage"

Almost everything, the cottage is ideally placed in a lovely village. It was warm and welcoming and the host was very attentive in ensuring we were settled and content.

Only minor issue is the second bedroom being accessed via pull-down ladder, so a bit risky if you're getting on a bit and need to visit the bathroom during the night. Main bedroom is downstairs though, and very comfortable.

As a separate cottage privacy is good

The ladder up to the loft bedroom is definitely not safe. The towels were horrendous. Looked far better in photos than the reality.

leider nichts.

Ich kann die Unterkunft leider nicht weiter empfehlen. Wir haben die Dusche nicht genutzt, da sie einfach verschmutz und unangenehm war. Habe mein Feedback dem Vermieter mitgeteilt. Die Klapptreppe in das obere Schlafzimmer, war echt wow. Klar, die beste Möglichkeit den Platz zu nutzen. Es scheint schon länger nichts mehr an der Wohnung gemacht worden zu sein. Im Vorfeld haben wir Infos vom Vermieter bekommen, wie wir uns verhalten sollen, damit es keinen Stress mit dem Nachbarn gibt. Diese Infos hatte ich den ganzen Aufenthalt im Hinterkopf und das war kein schönes Gefühl. Der Parkplatz ist sehr eng. Mit einem Bus würde man Probleme bekommen
