Everything about this property is fantastic and made for a really memorable trip. The property was super clean, had a great Sauna and has loads of room. It includes a great garden in which the kids had a great time playing in the snow. The best thing about the stay was David who is an exceptional host. From giving us tips on local activities to do, providing beautiful food and having a great taxi service he went above and beyond. With his vast knowledge of the locality it really made the trip much easier. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for somewhere to stay in Rovaniemi to stay in this property. They will not regret it.

I can surely say this is the best place to stay in Rovaniemi. It is on the outskirts, far enough from the noise of the city, but only a short drive from the city center and a 20 -min -walk to Santa's village which is a beautiful path surrounded by the forest. There are also more paths around the cottage in the forest with the best sledding sites for kids - David was so kind and took us for a short walk up the hill and showed us around. The cottage has everything you may need to feel super comfy during your stay - two spacious rooms, a big bathroom and the sauna which is the icing on the cake and a big garden where the children can play in the snow. We stayed there for 6 nights and were really sad to leave David's place. And we all agreed that the best part of all of it was David himself - he makes you super welcome, he is always there when you need him and at the same time is super discreet. My daughter actually says that it was David's dog she will miss the most. I recommend this place from the bottom of my heart.

Real artic experience! The most amazing host, David is very helpful being able to help you move around Rovaniemi and a great chef. We were in this cozy cottage, with real sauna and fireplace for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing day and it was exceptional. David is offering the most amazing homemade food for all this special days, Lapland's real festive dinner experience. Always ready to help but also very discret if needed. He and his amazing family are more than hosts, you can really feel the Christmas spirit with them!

Absolutely loved this property! It was perfect in every way and we really appreciated David making us feel so welcome. The property is really comfortable, clean and has great amenities. It’s in a lovely location and was super easy for us to walk to Santa Claus Village. We also valued the option to purchase evening meals and lifts provided by our host. We loved the sauna and the touches David had added to the property to make it special.

The sauna was a pleasant surprise! There was a place to park a car. The very polite owner was ready to answer all our questions. If we had no car, they were ready to pick us up and bring us to the place. The house is within walking distance from Santa Claus village—if the temperature is not very low, you can walk.

What an amazing accommodation. I cannot recommend highly enough. In a great location near Santa Claus village, the lodge is well equipped and very clean. The sauna was great to warm up after cold days out. David, the owner was super helpful. He picked us up and took us back to the airport and was available for taxi rides when we needed. We planned to eat in for breakfasts and make our own lunches and we were able to send a shopping list to David a few days before. It was amazing to arrive to a fully stocked fridge! We decided to eat in one night and David prepared a delicious meal delivered to our door which we all throughly enjoyed. This was rounded off by freshly baked pastries prepared by his wife. David - thanks you so much for an amazing stay!
