The Haven Cottage

House located in a quiet area, convenient for travelling to major towns and cities e.g. Edinburgh and Glasgow, Falkirk, Stirling. Plenty of space in the house and off street parking.

There were a couple of internal doors that were a little tight to get closed and needed a little oil on the hinges as they were a bit noisy.

Lovely little cottage, great hosts very welcoming . Perfect for a relaxing weekend away.

Nothing at all

The hospitality of Michelle and Paul was great. We appreciated the suggestions for Falkirk (The Falkirk Wheel in particular!) The cottage was really spacious and well equipt*!!. Sufficient sleeping accomodation for 5 adults, with children it would probably be possible for 6 persons. Excellent sitting. Kitchen also spacious and a nice spot to sit, eat, play a game etc. *(for those who aren't used to a dishwasher, just like us.)

I wouldn't type it as unsatisfied, but more as neutral!! A possible suggestion. If the bed were raised slightly, it would make getting in and out of the bed a little easier. But we are probably just spoiled with our own 'high' bed. But we managed..... ;-)

We found it easily and communication with Michelle was easy throughout. Felt spacious and homely, and was an instant hit the minute we walked through the door with all the family. Brilliantly placed for visiting different places. I would say exactly what we were hoping for, but the quirkiness and feel of the place meant it exceeded our expectations.

Was nice to be self sufficient and cook if we wanted to or eat out. Since our last stay the Wi-Fi had been upgraded which helped me to work, would recommend to anyone for a family visit to the area or for work, it’s location helped me get to the places I needed to and was near some nice attractions

Possibly thought the cleaning had been rushed prior to our arrival as someone had left that morning but it didn’t put us off as we always carry extra products with us

A very large cottage, very pet friendly with an enclosed garden and a park next door which was great for walking my dog. The host provided everything needed to make my stay easy and good information on places to eat or to get take away.

LOVELY HOMLY COTTAGE THAT WAS A REAL HAVEN TO WORK FROM THE COTTAGE IS ENORMOUS WITH LOVELY ORIGINAL FEATURES. WASHER AND DRYER ARE A GREAT HELP A GARDEN WAS A BONUS GREAT PARK NEXT DOOR THAT WAS FLOOD LITE FROM THE FLOOR AT NIGHT SO REALLY GOOD FOR DOGS TWO TAKEAWAYS IN THE VILLAGE WERE VERY GOOD AND THE PUB WAS FRIENDLY THE HOSTS OF HAVEN COTTAGE WERE FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFUL WE WILL RETURN AGAIN
