Location, facilities, cleanliness.

I explained my father was 85 years old before booking and both the kitchen dinning room and the bedrooms and bathrooms had to be accessed via steep winding staircases which my father could not negotiate so was left to find other accommodation for him plus one other member of the family as he couldn't be left alone being very stressful, inconvenient and extra cost of £400.we also couldn't park on the two designated parking places as a boat resident had parked there,this was resolved by the owners the next day. In my opinion I feel the property isn't suitable for the elderly or young due to the steep winding stairs and at the very least should be pointed out on the website as it's too late once you are there and payment not refundable!! If the stairs would of been pointed out to me I wouldn't of booked this property as the whole holiday break was for old time sake for my Father who couldn't stay there so as you can imagine we we're all very disappointed. I would like to give my thanks to "Baldwins Guest House" who accommodated my father and his brother at very short notice with a room suitable for him.

The property is modern but within keeping of it's age and beautifully maintained. Excellent communication and detailed instructions from the owners made everything a breeze. Location was idea for peaceful walks or fun or meeting up with friends. Plenty of local amenities for breakfast, lunch and dinner from pubs, and restaurants to takeaways and Coffee shops. Everything you could want.

Not a negative just a note that as an old listed building now converted townhouse the stairs are quite steep but easily accessible. Found it challenging with small children as child's bedroom directly opposite stairs with no stair gate but that was for us to monitor and manage.

Great location, lots of places to eat and drink. Very friendly host.

Very pleasant location on the riverside with attractive views. Sizeable house which accommodated all 8 of us

The living room is a squeeze when any more than 6 people are in there - but the huge kitchen does offer a big space for everyone to fit in easily

Beautiful house set out over 4 floors, unfortunately due to Storm Darragh, we did not venture out to see the area. Very large kitchen which seats 10 people. Lovely large ensuite bedroom on the top floor. Two other double bedrooms, one of which had a TV and another bedroom which can sleep 3 in a bunk bed and a slide out bed. Heating in all the rooms that can be set to your liking.

After running a bath, we didn't have hot water for the rest of the night, therefore I would recommend taking showers only.

Large kitchen with space for all 10 of us to sit around a table and eat together.

Nothing. Met all our needs as a family.
