Arle Farmhouse

Beautiful and comfortable accommodation with the most amazing view across the Sound of Mull with the mainland mountains behind. Fabulous, well-equipped kitchen and super living room. The bedrooms were lovely and the beds so comfortable, we had the best night's sleep for our week there. A real home from home. Well situated as it was about 20 minutes drive from Tobermory and 10 minutes drive from Salen (Spar open all hours!) We would love to come back one day.

Our only criticism would be, that the temperature of the shower was too cool for some of us. Also, it was difficult to dry clothes, shoes etc as the utility room had no heating facility. Also, the washing machine leaked the second time we used it and one of the hairdryers was faulty.

Lovely spot nicely located for other things to do. Cottage was very cozy and comfortable.

Wished for a few more basics in the kitchen, tea, salt and pepper, etc.

Spacious & very comfortable. Really liked the “original wall feature” in the sitting room. Heating worked very well. Lovely view across the Sound of Mull & directions excellent. Nice to meet Hannah & Hamish once we had arrived

Shower could have been hotter. Bath hot water was perfect though with the “boost”. DVD player connection not straightforward - some simple instructions would have helped. Plenty of DVDs to choose from which was great.

The location is perfect for exploring Mull and the views are beautiful. The house is spacious and has everything you could need. The walk down to the shore is lovely in an evening to watch the wildlife.

A double bed would have been nice in either of the larger bedrooms.

V simple arrival ..Key and welcome letter were in the door on arrival. Place was easy to find with fantastic instructions how to get there . Location overlooking the Loch was superb. 10 mins to shops in either Tobermory or Salen was very handy as we were self catering. Indian and Fish n Chips shop in tobermory . Also Mcdougalls fish/burger bar in Salen Spacious dining room and spacious lounge area with comfortable sofas. If the weather was bad you would not be in each others way . Adequate safe parking for 3 cars right outside the property Fully equipped kitchen One Small shower/bath room and toilet

Maybe a phone call to make sure everything was ok would have been nice My friends room had swifts nesting outside his window which he says woke him up in the morning ,also he said there was a smell from thier nest ...unfortunate time of yr I guess and myself and friend were in the other 2 rooms Internet speed was not fantastic tbh but it was a gorgeous week and we were rarely in
