Location and facilities

It prob needs lick of paint here and there but that’s being very picky and all that stopped it being a 10/10

Property was lovely and clean . Home from home . All amenities you needed. Cute garden

Like the property , great location for pubs . The house is near a church and the bells clock chimes every 15 minutes and is loud . But this isn’t a fault of the owners . Just don’t sleep with your windows open . Personal choice could do with more pillows in bedroom .

Very spacious, lovely garden, great location - just a 2 min walk to the centre of the village. Lovely linens, comfy beds & good assortment of kitchen utensils for cooking. Fabulous shower! Despite it being carnival day on the Saturday it was still pretty quiet around the cottage.

Nothing. Was a bit tricky to find as my sat nav took me the long way round & a road was closed.

The cottage was very clean, well stocked kitchen equipment. Shower excellent and very comfortable double bed in a quiet village location.

It was all good no negatives.

The location was great.

The house was absolutely freezing when we arrived. Showing a temperature of 10 degrees. We put the heating on at 3pm - by 7pm it was showing 13 degrees. There was a gas fire in the living room but it was for decoration only! We had intended to eat in but it was too cold. I was concerned that we would be really cold in the night as the quilts were quite thin. By 10pm the house was ok. After that the house was ok. It's a mistake to let a house get that cold. The double room had lamps at each the side of the bed, only one worked as the other one had no socket!

Was central very clean cosy cottage and dogs go free

Nothing to not like

Super accommodation. Cosy and comfortable with excellent facilities. In the village centre so accessible to pubs and shops. It's definitely a place to stay to enjoy the peaks.
