Acer Holiday Cottage Tideswell village Buxton Peak District by Rework Accommodation

great place to stay, lovely village lovely location in it, we loved the beds

the weather! but thats not you, actually we had some sun in the evening. This place was great for us, lovely weekend with my daughters, would have loved to have stayed longer

The village of Tideswell is conveniently located for everywhere in the Peak District. Within walking distance of the accommodation is everything you need e.g. 3 pubs, restaurant, baker’s, convenience store, chippy and cafe. Driving slightly further afield is a great pub in Foolow (Bulls Head). Amazing food and service. The Peak District is amazing. Castletown and Bakewell very notable places to visit.

The accommodation was not overly clean e.g. brown marks in loo (I’m sure you know what I mean), tooth pick at the side of the bed, hair band and other bits in the bathroom, dust and cobwebs throughout. Damp marks in the bathroom. Lacked a personal touch as managed by a company with multiple properties.

The property was perfect size for the 2 of us, but would be comfortable for upto 4. It was located I they beautiful village of Tideswell and was well furnished. Small back garden which would be lovely to sit out in the sun.

There was some damp on the bathroom ceiling, but other than that the property was immaculate.

Location was spot on. Village is lovely. Short walk to the George. Beautiful church. House was lovely. Very well equipped.

We all too hot at night. The bed linen/quilts were just too thick unfortunately. Single bed closest to window felt like it was on a slant. Or it dipped in the middle. It creaked when turning.

The cottage was in a good location in the village of Tideswell, it was small but cosy, just enough space for 3 of us which was a couple and an elderly parent. Well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and has a nice bathroom.

Unfortunately the beds were so soft they were not comfortable. The duvets were also really flimsy. The cottage could also do with a bit of a freshen up.
