This is a quirky, quaint and characterful property. Not sure if I can name anything it didnt have execpt the wifi and I know the host is sorting that. We only stayed the one night and didnt get to appreciate the beauty of the actual location

There were reviews about concerns re the access road. Correct its not tarmac but its easily passable and presents no risks to vehicles

Cottage was spotlessly clean, everything we could have needed was there. Nice spacious living area and main bedroom. Location is down a single track road but we found it without a sat nav - quiet and secluded but that suited us fine. Jennie was the ideal host, there for advice or a chat, but never intrusive. Loved the hens.

Nothing to complain about.

Magical house. Comfort and facilities exceptional. The peace and tranquility soon made its presence felt. It was wonderful to watch the wildlife. It was a cool retreat on probably the hottest weekend of the summer.

Absolutely nothing to dislike about it. It is a long way down a farm track that can be uneven and dusty but the house at the end is worth it.

A charming little cottage, set in rolling countryside, full of unexpected curiosities and surprises. Very well equipped, Jennie has thought of everything. I loved the big vintage spa bath, and there was plenty of hot water and lots of towels and a quaint cottage bedroom with a four poster (you had to mind your head on the beams!) Lovely sheepskins and Chinese carpets on the floor, lots of things to see and do in the cottage. Plenty of places to sit in the garden and an enormous well equipped aviary outside had zebra finches whose pleasant call was very soothing. From inside you could see all the wild birds coming to eat at the feeders. At night it was pretty dark so we saw lots of stars when we went for a walk down the lane. Jennie has 2 adorable dogs which were among the most beautiful and friendly I have seen and nothing was too much trouble for her. It was plum season and Jennie told us to pick as many plums as we wanted from the tree in the garden.

We liked everything.
