The property was a little difficult to find, and a bit remote if you are looking for proximity to a centre, but just right if you want peace and quiet in beautiful countryside!

If you’re looking for a break from everything the world can throw at us in our day to day lives, in a stunningly beautiful area at a property tucked away within this beautiful countryside and away from the noise of everyday town and city life. Where you are surrounded by fields and countryside and that’s the view from your bedroom then this is the place for you. Self catering at its very best everything has been considered you just need to bring your own food. There is a patio area to sit and listen to all the birds and the property has it’s own bird aviary too. There are plenty of walking around the property and the town of Welshpool is around 20-25 minutes drive down the road. Where there are a number of tourist attractions available including a Welsh steam railway and Powis Castle. The hospitality of the property owner Jennie was exemplary and she made our stay a perfect one. Will we be returning, most definitely. I huge thanks to the property host she has created something truly special that many more people need to experience for themselves.

Nothing everything was perfect for our stay.

"Relaxing, and in a great rural location."

The cottage is lovely, and set in beautiful location. The host, Jenny was very helpful, accommodating and informative. I would definitely recommend Parrs Cottage for a relaxing getaway. We used it as a base to visit Powis Castle and Shrewsbury.

"Absolutely stunning"

Jenny was absolutely amazing she came and met us and Made us feel very welcome and she even gave us some milk for tea

Nothing it was absolutely amazing I would highly recommend this place to anyone ☺️

A very old little cottage, very quirky and unique. The surroundings are so peaceful and was lovely to sit outside and eat breakfast with the birds chirping.

"Superb"

The location was a paradise and the host an inspiration for all she has done with her house and garden. It was nice to meet Jenny and feed the lambs.
