The Summerhouse, countryside retreat with private hot tub

Stayed in this accommodation at beginning of February with my partner for birthday celebrations and was perfect and will not hesitate to come back and recommend to everyone! The Summerhouse had everything needed – pots and pans, cutlery, hairdryer, cleaning equipment and towels etc etc – I couldn’t list it all. Then the extra mile the hosts went to provide everything and extra touches for our little break was exceptional – robes, slippers, milk, cereal, fresh eggs and lovely cookies. We only needed to shop for alcohol and snacks, which we tied in to a trip to local town which was also lovely. The welcome folder with all info on the Summerhouse and local places to eat/shop/visit was sooo useful and it literally meant we didn’t need to guess or google anything. We both had some reservations about using the hot tub when there was frost covering the ground but it was already up to temperature when we arrived and this was maintained during our stay, honestly until we reluctantly got out for bedtime – we wouldn’t have even known it was winter and freezing outside. The location and scenery was lovely and would love to return in the better weather to explore the local area more. There is option for a cooked breakfast each morning and we both chose the full breakfast – this was excellent quality and value for money and delivered to the door at time of our choosing. It tasted great and filled us up for the whole day. The set up with the Summerhouse and with check in and out was perfect and meant we had complete privacy during our entire stay, although aware we could contact the hosts at any time for anything. I can’t thank the hosts enough for a great break and cant wait to return.

Everything was as clean and comfortable as our first visit. Lovely well thought out cabin, private use of hot tub, huge comfortable bed and the option to order breakfast (highly recommended). Really nice getaway, can't wait to visit again.

The summerhouse was perfect in every way. Spacious. Lovely view . Nice and private . Cheryl and Simon amazing hosts went the extra mile in everyday.

Everything about this place was perfect, we wanted something cosy and quiet. Its perfect, exceptionally clean, good location, really nice layout, and perfect size for a couple. Hot tub was great. They had an option for breakfast, and was possibly the best we’ve ever had. Great host

Everything- spotless. Bed super comfortable the summerhouse is stunning. Garden and hot tub amazing. Hosts could not do enough for you. Cooked breakfast outstanding. Really nothing that could be improved on. Welcome pack a lovely touch also.

Great stay I will recommend the Summerhouse to all the hosts were lovely and was always there to help if needed such good hospitality and will certainly be returning in the near future.

Excellent host in a stunning private location. Very comfortable bed, brilliant facilities. The perfect couples get away. Can't fault anything, exactly what we were looking for. Perfect as pictured, Highly recommend.
