The Summerhouse, countryside retreat with private hot tub

The host Cheryl was excellent! Very friendly kept me informed at every step. She had obviously thought about what guests would need and left lovely locally sourced provisions. The fixtures and fittings were of the highest quality. The hot tub was lovely and the garden provided an extra room . All in all,the Summerhouse is excellent !

It’s very dark walking from the parking space to the Summerhouse. The dining table is a little low as we’re the dining chairs but that’s my only criticism.

Our time at The Summerhouse was wonderful from start to finish. We arrived in the evening but were able to find the place easily as it was so well lit and set in a very private area. The house had everything we needed. The hottub was ready for us, and there were very yummy complimentary treats. The whole place was super clean and warm. The garden area is enclosed with views over the hills and field of animals. We ordered the breakfast from our hosts. It was delivered to us at a time of our choosing and was absolutely delicious and made using local produce and eggs from the cottage next door. The hosts were even gracious enough to show us some of their animals and feed them. Who knew sheep liked digestive biscuits. The local area is stunning. We went on a couple of walks and found the reservoir and Astbury Falls. The local pub is a short walk away and is a very traditional cou try pub with great food and even had live music on the Saturday night. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. The summer house was clean and cute! bed was very comfortable and the hosts had given us fresh orange juice, fresh eggs, milk,jams and biscuits 10/10 for everything..Thankyou for being a lovely host and will be seeing you again soon

It was clean, the facilities were amazing, the hosts had really thought of everything. A wonderful welcome pack. The surrounding views were stunning. We opted to have a home cooked breakfast on the first morning, exceptional.

There wasn't anything we disliked at all. Couldn't fault it.

The Summerhouse was absolutely immaculate, so lovely and tidy. The welcome package left was so thoughtful, hot tub was great and the location was so peaceful. We had breakfast which was delicious and topped the stay off by meeting the alpacas and sheep was a great experience. We would absolutely stay here again as we could not fault it!

Thw cooked breakfast was excellent well worth the money. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Very relaxing.

The peace and quiet. The Summerhouse had everything we needed . Lots of nature to see , we were also able to feed the owners sheep and Lamas . Ordered cooked breakfast which was amazing, especially fresh eggs ... Hot tub an added bonus , this break was just what we both needed
