We booked this property after a bit of a tough time personally. It was the perfect retreat. Private, quiet and close to nature. We found the property comfortable and cosy. We were glad of our own kitchenette and hot tub. The breakfast provided was lovely, fresh eggs, honey, butter and other items. Cheryl and her husband were really welcoming and we loved seeing the animals.

Very little. Everything was great. The only small thing we weren’t keen on is the bathroom light is on a motion sensor so when you go to the toilet in the night it’s very bright. Otherwise no complaints.

Had the most amazing break at The Summerhouse! The hosts really go the extra mile which was very much appreciated, the fresh local produce left was incredible! The bed was SO comfy, everything was clean and tidy and the breakfast cooked by Simon was perfection. The welcome pack left was full of detail and helped us to find some amazing places to explore and eat - the local pub was fantastic! We will definitely be visiting again, thanks for making our stay so memorable!

We loved the welcome pack, especially the cookies! Absolutely stunning, exceptionally clean, hot-tub was heavenly after days out exploring - the bed (WOW!) sooooooo comfortable. The home-made breakfast was delicious. Thank you!!

The only thing we could possible think of was we wished there was a small oven - and, there's no wall clocks!? Haha - apart from that, perfect!

We had a great time in the summerhouse and the atmosphere was very welcoming a soon as we arrived. The hosts have been very nice, friendly and open for questions. We enjoyed the hot tube and also had the opportunity to meet the animals.
