The Summerhouse, countryside retreat with private hot tub

Absolutely loved how big hot tub was .and comfort of bed. Better then my own .

Everything... I can't fault the place.. and the owner really does think of everything. The breakfast was amazing local produce,, great tasting what more could you say. It's exceptionally clean, the owner has a welcome pack that provides all the information you require while you stay there. Even down to arranging a little surprise for my partner. Lovely couple who own this little gem.

Nothing... Absolutely nothing.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and it is just so lovely and cosy. There is everything you need, the bed is super comfy and we love just being able to shut off from the world. There is a lovely, welcoming pub just down the road which does great food at a reasonable price too!

This time around there was a wedding happening in a neighbouring property which was very very loud for most of the day and night. Cheryl did warn us about it in advance and, although it meant a slightly less than peaceful stay, it didn’t really spoil our weekend and the fireworks were fab!

The host was absolutely amazing. I couldn’t fault the excellent communication and the cooked breakfast delivered to us every morning. The Summerhouse was peaceful, remote, and brilliantly tucked away. We had all the facilities we needed, including food and drinks in the fridge upon arrival. There were jars filled with delicious cookies, cereal, and honey. The property was very clean and well-stocked with plenty of towels, robes, slippers, toothpaste, and other toiletries—a brilliant touch. The booklet with lots of information for guests was a great idea and very useful. The hosts thought of everything and accommodated any additional needs, like milk. Fantastic hosts!

There was nothing to dislike. If I had to nitpick, I would suggest investing in a more comfortable sofa to make movie-watching more relaxing.

Weather but can't be helped

Absolutely everything about our stay was perfect. Great accommodation and the many food extras that came with it was extra special. Lovely friendly hosts with a lovely breakfast to boot.

There was nothing to dislike. Faultless.

Everything was incredible. The hosts were great at communication and the breakfasts was exceptional. Everything was spotless when we arrived and they even left us some Prosecco, fresh egg, fresh milk, fresh juice and more for when we arrived! It was just an overall great experience and we will 100% be going back. There isn’t a single thing at fault. And lastly in the bathroom was draw with anything you could need. It had women supplies, toothpaste, extra toilet roll. The property as a whole was very well done.

Very enjoyable stay great hosts and superb breakfast. Loved feeding the alpacas and sheep would definitely stay again!
