Triple Deck Cottage 2 mins from Mevgaissey Harbour

Very clean, nice and bright, great location for what we wanted

Wifi very slow compared to what we are used to, however I don’t think it’s the property, I think it’s the broadband in the local area

Cleanliness

The outside courtyard was not an effective outside space

The location of the property was perfect, two min walk to harbour. The property itself was beautiful, had everything we needed, comfortable and homely

Bit tricky getting into property with cases if the neighbours car is parked right by front door, an don’t leave back door open as it lets in loads of little flies in summer months, Wi-Fi can be a bit intermittent

Superb location, quick walk down into harbour and town.

Nothing to dislike

very close to the harbour and shops, upstairs was lovely and airy, close to the big carpark and a secret gate to access this meant you didn’t need to walk round to the main entrance each time you went to the car. early check in was good.

Watch out when unloading, the road in front if the property is two way despite being very narrow! The lounge smelled strongly of dogs on arrival arrival, the small courtyard is not suitable to sit outside in- dark and wet and 9am checkout was too early given that we had stripped the beds, cleaned the kitchen and the parking attendant wasn’t yet on duty to refund the gate key deposit….

Great location, lovely clean home to stay in - obsessed with the log burner that was a lovely treat! Super close to the harbour and some lovely things to do locally. Loved that parking was sorted too! Lots of info in the welcome pack both to prepare for the trip and plenty of ideas of places to go, I really appreciated that. We only used a couple of the rooms but plenty or space for large family and little nursery too.

Teeny things to improve - miniscule things.. please can someone pop a door number and an arrow on the front of the building - we literally drove up and down four times (no joke!) to find where we were supposed to be. Needed a lamp in one of the double rooms and a teeny bit more space in the bathroom to pop wash bags on.

It was as we expected and we had a lovely time in Mevagissey

Bathroom sink did not have enough surround area to place soap, toothbrushes etc but this was a minor point

Lovely warm log burner and well equipped kitchen 😊

Only a small supply of firewood provided.
