The Lookout

This house is a great place to stay with good views of the sea, and close to the extended beaches that are excellent for long walks next to the sea. The premises were excellent, clean, nice welcome pack, and had everything you need for a very quiet and relaxing stay. Bev contacted us just after our arrival to make sure all was OK and if we need anything. Nice to see a host and connect with them. WE will book again in the winter months as we love the cost in the winter months. If you have pet make sure you take a good torch, although there was one provided, and also have a flashing dog light for your pet to keep them safe as well as it can be very dark when walking beyond the street lights as not many street lamps in that area, and also the coastal paths can be dangerous without good lighting. Great few days away, and so relaxing.

The steps down to the beech and back again. 😊 I need to get fitter to go up and down those steps every day. May have to book longer next time...Even if you don't want to walk down the coastal steps 2 minutes away from the location and private, its only a short walk to the main beech area and village Nothing that I didn't like about our time away.

Lovely location and so well equipped and appointed

An amazing place, definitely a home from home environment. The weather was kind to us so was lovely sitting out on the balcony in the evenings listening to the sea. Bev is a great host and gifted wine, milk, flowers and biscuits. Treats for Jack & Bertie which they thoroughly enjoyed! Bed is super comfortable so we both slept really well. Whole house was spotlessly clean. Small walk to the steps for the beach, they are quite steep. We will be back xx

The house was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. A great deal of attention has gone into providing a beautiful home with everything needed for an excellent stay. The view is superb and Bev was a welcoming and helpful host.
