"Fabulous property with stunning views"

The cottage is lovely, it looks like it will be tiny and then it’s suddenly really spacious! The kitchen is well equipped and had everything I needed and the upstairs rooms are a delight

"Short stay we slept well but glad we did were not doing much catering"

5.0

Good location. Spacious facilities. Pleny of hot water.

Fridge ice box full of ice - unusable. Very cold fridge ? Seal on fridge not working. Dishwasher seals and around door very grubby and smelly. Cooker could not get grill to work top oven only. All items need replacement. The hoover not picking up. Dusty overall. Shower unable to increase height and angle of the showerhead so hand held use only alternative. It is difficult to shower and wash hair with one soapy hand!! No extraction for bath/shower. Hearth in bedroom - safety issue trip hazard ( in night walking to bathroom). Do not think feather pillows and lounge cushions good idea as many people have allergy issues esp asthmatics!!

"Stunning property"

10.0

The location is fab, beautiful views from the window, especially from the bedroom where you can watch the horses. The kitchen is well equipped and deceptively spacious. Upstairs, the sitting room is huge, and the sofa bed is very comfy as a sofa. The bathroom is also large with a powerful shower separate from the bath and, again, lovely views across the fields. The bedroom is so bright and airy with windows on 2 walls so you get different views of the area. The bed is so big and comfy with really cosy bedding. It's so good you don't want to get out of it in the morning. We stayed last year and have booked again for next year as it's a hidden gem.

"An excellent property and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. We really enjoyed Duken Cottage!"

9.0

It’s location, the surrounding countryside, it was spacious and the quirky nature of the property

I wish that we could have opened the windows. The water in the shower could have been hotter.

"Very enjoyable stay"

9.0

Beautiful setting and very convenient location for visit to Bridgnorth. Plenty of space in the accommodation for two persons. Kitchen small but well-appointed. A really nice place to stay and excellent value for money.

Long walk from bedroom to toilet but I don't see how building layout could be altered. Bedroom wardrobe difficult to access even when chair removed. Lack of beside light.
