Honeysuckle Cottage

It was very relaxing..no traffic noise..so peaceful..never stayed anywhere so quiet..beds were comfortable & the living room was very cozy...plenty of parking..the cottage had everything we needed..

Wife didn't like opening & shutting the gates 🤣

Very quiet rural location, no noise apart from birds chirping. Nice garden space and would be great for summer visitors as BBQ , etc all there for use. Cottage was lovely and very comfortable

Only minor issue was one of the previous occupants had not cleared up after their dog on the lawns!!!

Great communication with host in relation to access, the key was easy to find. The cottage was perfect size for us a couple and our dog and a great base for exploring all the local villages. We did a lovely walk around the Merton plantation which is only a short drive away. I brought essentials with me (washing up liquid, cooking oil, loo roll etc) but the cottage had this already which was a nice surprise.

The location is very remote, good driving distance to key villages and towns Dorchester, Swanage, Lulworth etc however you can't just walk to the shop, the pub or out with the dog you do have to drive everywhere as the roads are not safe to walk through especially in the darker winter months.

The location of this delightful cottage was excellent to explore the Dorset coast. No direct neighbours. Garden was well enclosed for our dog. It had all the amenities you need. Local co-op for supplies only 1.4 miles away.

Nothing to dislike, although my son 6ft 3" did keep forgetting to duck the low ceilings!

Great location with all the features you wished for in a thatched cottage.
