The unspoilt nature of the location. It's a complete escape from our everyday life's. Also it is close to all our favourite places like the Tank Museum.

Lovely little cottage with lots of character, huge & secure gardens & very peaceful location. Easy self check-in.

Sadly, the cottage was very cold & damp when we arrived. It only started to feel warm & cosy after 24hrs of having all the heaters going and the log burner but then this caused lots of condensation. It was also a bit annoying that we didn’t have any tea towels, the gas lighters ran out on the first day & we only had 3 logs in the basket on arrival (despite it being written that the first basket full of wood was free). Unfortunately, due to the time of year, the heaters downstairs were inadequate for heating the whole downstairs so we had to have the log burner going the whole time which took 2 bags full of wood (leaving £20 to cover this “additional cost”).
