The old house and garden are attractive and spacious. The house is ideally situated: easy to walk into town, yet quiet. The cooler weather meant the fireplace could be used - a bonus. Well-equipped kitchen too. Ample blankets, pillows etc.

Very minor quibbles: water pressure in shower a little low, and wardrobe cupboard door unable to close without a sock etc jammed in.

"Fabulous stay at beautiful house!!"

The house was absolutely wonderful. Attention to detail, decor, serenity of the garden....fabulous!

The water took 15min to get warm in the shower!!! Could only have coffee once as there was not enough milk.

"Beautiful country house"

We loved the huge majestic old house, which is beautifully furnished with antique pieces and vibrant artworks. It was great to relax on the comfy couches on the front stoep and enjoy the gorgeous garden. A well equipped kitchen and scullery, large braai area and sunny dining room all made this stay absolutely wonderful. The little touches and exceptional attention to detail, such as emergency lights in case of load shedding, matches and firelighters and wood for the braai, coffee and tea: all made us feel extra special.
