Beautiful period building in the heart of hay on best street. Lovely views as well.

The only thing I can say is non slip coasters for bedside tables as glasses slid off !

This exceeded our expectations, very comfortable and very clean, felt at home straight away, huge comfortable bed, comfy sofa & arm chair, well equippped kitchen, private and sunny garden, lovely big shower, views over the hills.We were concerned before booking that it might be noisy due to being in the centre of Hay but actually is was very quiet at night. We liked having everything on the doorstep, it was Thursday market day which is lovely way to spend the day mooching about and it is not far from lovely walks in the hills. Ali was a perfect host and we would love to return!

We had a perfect stay at 22 Castle Street, we felt reassured from all the positive reviews we read before arriving but it exceeded our expectations! Ali has thought about everything you could possibly need during your stay, it is so well-equipped, clean and the most unbelievable location. The shower was amazing, the beds are comfy and we loved our stay! Thank you for a fantastic visit x

Brilliant location, somehow both quiet and central. Lovely property, really beautiful, clean, with every amenity. We loved it here and will recommend to friends.

It's very hard to think of anything which could be improved. I guess the only tiny detail I could mention was the shower base was a little slippery when wet, perhaps a mat might be helpful for some people. Other than that it was all perfect.

Great location...everything you could possibly need provided. Super comfy bed...loved the window seat, overlooking the street.

This was the perfect place for my birthday visit to Hay-on-Wye, with my husband and our son. Very well located, the maisonette was presented to an exceptional standard. Very comfortable, very clean, warm and quiet, even though it was in the centre of town. Excellent communication with the owner - all in all a real treat. Highly recommended.
