"Beautiful place."

Adorable place. Great location. Had everything we needed. Small, but we didn't mind. It is a great use of the space. Loved our stay.

Not a negative at all, just an FYI that the staircase is steep and all beds are upstairs. Read and follow the driving directions carefully, we learned the hard way ;P

"Had a lovely break, would use again but baby due next year and the house is not big enough."

Location, free parking, décor, well equipped,

No instructions about recycling, not enough towels, smoke detector in kitchen very close to oven so that every time oven door opened the alarm sounded, we had to take it down. Directions, too detailed and hard to follow. Wrong road name given.

Central location with parking just a few minutes walk to the main high street yet so quiet! Quaint cottage that delivers everything you need for a lovely stay and has a little garden overlooking the River which would be fabulous in Summer. Spotlessly clean. The kitchen had everything you could think of and the lounge a very large smart tv in a cosy setting.

"Cozy river view."

The setting was stunning. Incredibly central but absolutely quiet. Three minutes' walk from the high street but in the middle of nature. Small and cosy but with parking, space outside to eat and enjoy the river, two toilets, a generous kitchen... It was such a nice home away from home.

We would have loved a good strong light in the garden. The weather was unseasonally warm but it was dark by about 6PM. Actually, talking about light, and this isn't the bnb's fault... the footpath is very very dark at sundown. I highly recommend walking via the car entrance at night.

"Canterbury is a lovely city to explore."

The location was very good but a bit difficult to find. Instructions as to how we could get there on foot from the High Street would have been useful. It is close to an excellent restaurant, The Cook's Tale, formerly Ambrette. The back garden and river were much appreciated by all 4 of us.

There were no instructions on how to use the cooker hob and so we were unable to do so on the one occasion we required it.
