Sea View Charming Stone House

all good - but think it will be valuable info if somewhere on the add can just be noted that their is a staircase down to bathroom and main bedroom and kitchen - further on unit met standards

Loved the view and top floor with sitting area, balcony and day beds. A bit difficult to navigate the steep stairs to the kitchen/bedroom/bathroom and very little natural light. Saying this, would stay again as it was lovely overall! Lovely garden if you have pets!

The stairs inside the house leading to the kitchen bedroom, bathroom located downstairs is very steep, the layout of the house is a kinda live downstairs visit upstairs...it is a heritage house so I can understand the limitations. Not children friendly, not suited for the elderly, nor fir anybody having a physical disability or any type of mobility challenge. There is only 1 bathroom ..located downstairs and the shower is way too small, the toilet is in an awkward position.. bedroom light was not working nor 1 bedside lamp, the wooden floor feels damaged in certain sections. The sofa beds in the living room upstairs is hard.. The bedroom mattress feels and sounds worn.. Lack of hospitality...

Great little house with a lovely view over the harbour! The garden was well-kept and welcoming. The upstairs part of the house was the best: open, light and airy. Secure off-street parking for 2 vehicles was very helpful. The kitchen was sufficiently large with a stove/ oven, microwave, large fridge, washing machine and a double wash sink. Close to the "old" part of the town (shops, etc) and also a short drive to the tidal pools.

It has been mentioned in previous reviews, but the wooden stairs leading down to the bedroom/ bathroom and kitchen are steep. We didn't struggle with them, but older people and young kids might. The house is also literally adjacent to another (connected) home with meant everyone's conversations were overheard. There wasn't gas for the gas stove - and the kitchen was pretty dark as a number of the light bulbs in the fitting weren't working. Also, to access the toilet/ bathroom, one needs to go through the main bedroom downstairs, which may be challenging once people in the downstairs bedroom are asleep.

The balcony and the view definitely made this place extra special. Owner was very helpful and overall a great place to stay. Also very comfortably sleeps 4 people.

no hand soap is my only complaint
