Magnificent sea view lodge

There was no WiFi, reception is pretty bad!! It’s not really a sea view until you get to the main entrance then you can see the sea!

The only good thing about this booking was that the owner of the caravan arranged another accommodation after we encountered issues with the lodge.

There are a number of things that were wrong - 1. Instructions to reach lodge were not very clear. 2. Property was not checked before our arrival - there was no heating & water in the property 3. After 2 hours of struggle we were asked to move to a different lodge, I learned in the morning that owners did not agree the same with the other lodge's owner. We were pushed out of the other lodge in the morning - Out in the cold at freezing temperature. 4. I called booking.com customer service to help with the situation and I was told that I will receive a call back but I never got any call. 5. I took my kids to this location because of the facilities visible when I booked the lodge, but I couldn't use any of that, infact I wasted so much time just to sort the accommodation. I told the kids about the facilities and I was extremely angry when I had to leave without being able to use the facilities. YOU HAVE CERTAINLY LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER

The location was fantastic with a great view of the sea. The lodge was very spacious and had every feature we could have asked for and more. We would definitely like to book again in future.

Excellent house, 25 minutes by car to the center of Edinburgh. Everything needed was available. There is a store nearby and a fish store nearby. Highly recommend!
