Kootney Resorts

The cottage was really spacious, with a lovely large bathroom with a walk-in shower with hot water, and a dressing room. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed having the terrace to sit out on. We asked last minute to change our check in time and this was very kindly accommodated. Location is great for exploring the north of Dominica, and Trish gave us some great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. We also loved being accompanied on walks by the resident dog Pinot, who is very cute!

A very nice cottage with lots of new equipment. Excellent and large bed and bathroom. Good space to sit outside and inside. Tranquil and pretty gardens and very quiet overall. Trish and Kyle and super hosts. We loved our stay there.

The property is situated at the end of a quiet street and is surrounded by lush vegetation. Each cottage is equipped with a small porch with sitting area, kitchenette with large counter to eat and a generously sized bathroom and a full closet.

The property is a 20 minute walk to the public beach. The curtains in the bedroom allowed a lot of light through, but that’s because I’m a light sleeper.

We were very well received by Trish and Kyle upon our arrival. The place is quiet and very clean. Kyle recommended many places to visit or eat. We would have stayed longer.

The surroundings and setting of the property are great. Lots of vegetation and in general quiet. All you might need in your cottage. Could see birds, and lizards and frogs from the balcony. Walking distance to the supermarkets.

Our cottage was at the edge of the property and there were cars coming and going frequently. We had to stay a few hours a day in the cottage because of work and there was always someone around doing some garden work. Everything looks amazing and very cared for in the gardens, but there was a pressure gun and or weed eater working every morning for a few hours. Maybe because it was previous to Christmas break.... We also had some neighbours that were heavy smokers so we could not enjoy the outside areas as much as we wanted. Make sure you mention that to the host.

The facilities, the cottages were very well supplied. The location. The cleanness of the cottages.
