Tekau - Modern holiday apartment with lakeview

We liked the view, the amenities provided and great communication from the hosts. It was lovely to have an outdoor area to enjoy the view of Queenstown and the beds were really comfortable!

For the first day of our stay the wifi wasn't working which made things tricky for European travellers, but the host stayed in constant contact and resolved it ASAP. The walk up from town was a little steeper than we were expecting. As we had older travellers with us they preferred to only walk up once a day - this meant we couldn't just pop back to the accommodation when we felt like it. I'd recommend hiring a car if you're not super fit!

Everything was fantastic

Close to the city, modern, clean, spacious living area. Fully equiped kitchen. Lovely views. Comfortable beds.

Driveway entry from street dangerous concrete, scraping car , needing to drive very carefully on entry and exit. Bedroom 1 (near toilet) loud continuous electrical noise present all day and night, coming from electric in hall way. Disturbed my sleep. Also 1st bedroom did not have a curtain covering a window in that room and lights streaming there all night. Made it difficult to sleep. Fridge door- needed to be careful closing door as freezer door would open. Needed to check both were closed .
