The views and location did not match what was indicated on the booking.com profile … doctored photos suggest the apartment was right over the lake. More real time directions were required and would have been appreciated as there were local road works. The entry at the driveway was not suitable for low clearance cars … we noted evidence that there has been damage done crossing over the threshold. Despite several communications the ‘boss’ was unavailable … ‘in a meeting’. His assistant was pleasant though but at a loss when we needed assistance. We spent an hour driving around frustrated by road works.

The best part is kitchen and dinning room, very convenience and the view is great, feel very comfortable when have dinner there, especially in the balcony

Really close to town! Such gorgeous views over the lake, it’s an upside down property so the entertainment space makes the most of that. Spacious and clean. modern decor. The hosts left us some cute card and chocolates to welcome us which was super thoughtful.

Whatever you do, do not bring any less than a 4 wheel drive into the driveway access. So dangerous and you will absolutely scratch the heck out of your car in the process, no matter how smooth or carefully you turn in and out. Luckily we only used the car to pick the bags up at the end of the stay otherwise this would have happened every time. It was also super hot on arrival, even with fans on. After walking up the Thompson st hill as well.

The apartment is very well appointed in relation to kitchen and appliances etc, comfortable. Great views from the balcony - really nice to sit on of an afternoon. Rooms mostly comfortable. Check-in via a key lock box. Internet worked well. Communcation with the hosts was excellent. We did enjoy the stay here but there were some issues that we didn't know about / expect which reduced our enjoyment.

Was not aware the property is over 3 levels, lower lever with the laundry, entrance level with the two bedrooms, the bathroom and toilet and upper level with kitchen, lounge/dining and balcony - this was not noted in the photos or description - the mother-in-law had issues with the stairs due to a knee problem. There are not 2 bathrooms. There is only one bathroom with the shower over the bath and a separate toilet only, this should be noted in the description. Only one bedroom had windows to open, the one without opening windows could get stuffy.

The view from the living area was nice.

No privacy in bedrooms. Curtains had to be closed all the time.
