It was less than a mile from food and a short walk to the beach. Loved it!

The property was great. It was a fantastic location right on the beach and not far at all from the village.

No place to sit outside in the morning or evening just a parking lot. No shade

We arrived before check-in to see where the unit was located that we had reserved and paid for; we saw immediately that the parking spot was not as described. The description stated that parking was available behind the property, when in fact, the only parking available was in front. We drove around to the back to be certain, and also called the reservationist to be sure. We drive an SUV, and there was no way to get in the spot to park, and no way to get out. In fact, the property next to it allocated a spot for parking as well, and it is impossible that two vehicles — ours and theirs — could have parked there. In addition, the two vehicles would have blocked each other in. When questioned, the reservationist’s solution was to park across the street in the pay-per-hour beach parking. He did call the owner, who said they would not provide any refund. We never stepped foot in the property. My concern is that the parking situation in the descriptor was misrepresented. We could not have parked there, nor could we have navigated around a second vehicle to get in and out of the tight space. In addition, they couldn’t have navigated around us. So we were without a place to stay. We had to re-book another place for two nights at the spur of the moment, with zero refund provided. If you want to have a place to park your car and be able to drive in and out of your spot, do not rent this place, as the owners did not describe the parking situation accurately, nor did they agree to refund our money when we realized this misrepresentation. I have never had anything but wonderful experiences with properties through booking.com. This, however, was the exception.

Cleanliness and functionality

Staff was not very communicative. I waited for an update as promised but no one ever reach out if room was ready or not. I was previously advised that they will but I did not received any update. I reached out via email and no one responded.
