Our stay in Swellendam was truly special, thanks to Braam’s hospitality and the beautiful surroundings. The house itself is stunning, with a lovely garden full of flowers and trees, and fresh bouquets placed in vases that made the atmosphere feel welcoming and serene. We were touched by the wonderful welcome letter from Stanley and the thoughtful gift of balm prepared by Braam himself. Braam explained everything clearly upon arrival, kind, and genuinely attentive. The morning was unforgettable: waking up to views of colorful flowers, beautiful trees, and the mountains beyond was pure joy. It’s a place that invites you to slow down and enjoy every detail. Our only regret is that we stayed just one night – far too short to fully appreciate all the beauty and warmth this place has to offer. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Swellendam.

Braam and his partner have created a beautiful retreat in their wonderful cottage in Swellendam. It w so full of artefacts from the past as well as. Fabulous blend of today. Each room beautifully designed and equipped.

Beds were so comfy, so all had a great nights sleep. Shame we could only stay one night, but will definitely return again and recommend to friends. Plesesure ro meet Braam - a very personable and talented gentleman who took great pleasure showing us around his cottage and putting beautiful flowers from his garden into each bedroom and the cottage. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Janet

Ausnahmslos alles. Es waren ein paar tolle Tage!

Super Ausstattung, geschmackvoll und stilsicher eingerichtet, Milch und Wasser zur Begrüßung im Kühlschrank, es mangelt an nichts! Hochwertige Accessoires, sogar ein kleiner Pool im Garten. Viele Blumen.

The property was delightful. Braam was an excellent host and very welcoming. The property has lots of extras that we did not expect to find eg: spices for braai, a range of milk, tea and coffee choices

There was absolutely nothing that we did not like. If exceeded our expectations. The pillows, linen and beds where of a very high standard and very comfortable.

Braam our host was incredible, his home is clean, beautiful and so comfortable. He gave us a great tour and we really appreciated all the effort he made to ensure we had a lovely stay. We look forward to coming back!

Braam, the host made early contact, advising us on the necessary detail with regard to keys and the check in procedure. We met him at the property and were well informed about everything. This is the most beautiful cottage. My married children made use of the outside flatlet. I will definitely book here again and can recommend this property.
