Kingfisher Lodge - Private Hot Tub - Infrared Sauna - Dog Friendly

It’s in a lovely location surrounded by wildlife and water. Great hot tub

A bottle of spray cleaner would have been handy for the kitchen. Plus an extra tea towel and a sweeping brush. We didn’t see the staff once.

Very accessible to shops and transport into bath was only a 20 minute walk away hotub was brilliant and the grounds with all the wildlife was excellent waking up in the morning 😊 and the grounds staff were very pleasant definitely recommend the lodge me and family will definitely be back thanku

Stayed in Kingfisher. Generally good, but just a few little additions could actually make it the luxury lodges they are advertised as.. Kitchen /living area - a dust pan & brush would be helpful to clean up after self - a mop would come in handy to wipe up after coming in from hot tub - more than 1 dish towel would be helpful and something to wipe surfaces with - a fan would be handy - opening the windows allows the mosquitos in - the presence of which being by a lake side is understandable, however, the lodge became uncomfortably warm - limited cooking utensils. Bathroom - I appreciate it's self catering, but more than 1 toilet roll could be provided - no hand wash or toiletries of any kind - smell of sewage - extractor fan not working - no shower mat - the heating rail (despite being switched on) not working. Bedrooms - twin room has 1 socket (behind the chest of drawers) - the door handle too stiff - dust on all the radiators - storage cupboards smelt musty.

Close to longleet safari Park. Kids loved the hot tub.

Cabins are quite close together and next family was quite noisy.

Very tranquil, spacious, over looking the lake, peaceful, plenty of towels and kitchen utensils.

The beds are very soft, still dusty in bedrooms, bathroom was full of mosquitoes

Wonderful location, perfect for visiting Longleat. The Lodge was clean and comfortable. The site is beautiful and having the hot tub after a long day at Longleat was perfection. Beds comfortable, all linen was clean and fresh. The kitchen was equipped but with the basics. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
