Location was excellent

Difficulty getting key code information as hosts were on holiday and took 2 hours to pick up messages/calls due to poor internet where they were. They knew when I was arriving and could have messaged me the information earlier in the day.

Cute, cosy cottage with everything you need. It's well located for travelling around the Lakes and away from the hustle and bustle of Windimere. Everything was clean, tidy and comfortable.

Had some issues with some of the TV channels cutting out during heavy winds but that's super minor! I can't really think of anything else.

Burnthwaite cottage is a really cosy cute upside down cottage 10minutes in between Kendall and Windermere. Although it looks like it's right next to a busy road the cottage is very quiet and there's a lovely walk around the back. We had a couple of issues which were resolved very quickly by the lovely hosts who are just next door. Would absolutely recommend to stay here!
