"An exuberant riverside apartment with deck that is perfect for a couple."

Mychael and Lisa have left an exuberant touch in this extraordinarily located apartment! The decor is delightful and uplifting. They have created a great outdoor deck from which to enjoy the river. They have thought through every detail of your stay—welcoming you with wine and the makings of a great breakfast. Their care and kindness are apparent in every aspect of your stay!

"A cosy little retreat to rest our tired feet."

We booked the old post office as a base to do some hiking and Hadrians Wall was on our radar. This property was only 2 miles away and there was a nice pub just metres away. Idyllic by the river and so quiet.

The inside of the River View Studio was clean and had a cosy feel with quirky design features. The surrounding area was beautiful with good dog walks nearby. Communication and attention to detail by owners was excellent. We really enjoyed our visit.

"You get what you pay for!"

Very doggy friendly. Own outdoor bar overlooking river. Dietary requirements met (above) Beautiful location. Everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Eco friendly. Attention to detail. Vindolanda, Hadrian's Wall and Sycamore Gap a very short drive away. Lots of walks and exploring to do locally (short drives). 2 min walk to train station. A lovely, bespoke place.
