The bathroom in Blue Crane cottage can do with an upgrade. However, it is a farm stay after all

The privacy of the cottages in relation to the other accommodation. The walks The spoil of having a pool and hot tub Very comfy bed Spacious, well equipped bathroom. A shower that never let you down with hot water. What was also magic was the fact that all dogs visiting had to be on a lead.

A very important fact which did spoil the weekend somewhat was that we were told completely enclosed garden. Unfortunately, there were steps up to the pool which any size dig could climb, jump the wall, and run off to explore. That is what happened, which unnerved us, and we had to tie our dog up. We did try and barricade the steps, but we still felt our spaniel could have jumped over. When we asked Carol when leaving, she explained that yes, it was a problem, but people put the chairs on the steps. We suggested higher fencing on the outside of the wall to solve this problem, but the fact is that what we were told and what we found was a bit upsetting. Also, the maple (I think) shed its leaves constantly and made a mess of the pool, hot tub, and garden. I would have really enjoyed a lounger in the garden to lay comfortably to read or suntan. Just found nowhere comfortably to sit. Otherwise, everything else was provided for to make an enjoyable stay.

A wonderful spot for families, especially those with young children. The grounds are Beautifully designed and looked after. A lot of thought has gone into their creation. The animal feeding in the morning was a highlight for the kids. We all loved the swimming pool, and great cocktails for the parents too!

It's hard to find fault. We stayed in the glamping site and because we had small children with us we might have preferred an enclosed campsite. But, that said, it was nice to feel like part of the bigger camping community. The sites are enclosed on three sides but mostly open to the front

Great place overall. Loved the wagon and what was provided in the kitchen. Everything you needed.

The hot tub had a lot of dirt/sand in it when we arrived.
