It was all lovely

The quilts were really thin on all 3 beds.

The chalet was lovely and clean with all the amenities you need for a great holiday. Its location near the beach is brilliant.

We had a problem with the heating on the 1st night, which was down to windows being left on the latch and one that didn't close properly. I did contact the owner, who gave me instructions on how to work the heating. We had already done all the things they suggested. They then stopped communicating with us without offering any more help. The temperature was 14 degrees, and we had a 2 year old with us. We had to sit with duvets over us with the oven on to get the chalet to temperature. This was dangerous, and our granddaughter couldn't play as she wanted to. Once we had found the problem window and wedged it, we managed to get it warm and continued with our weekend. We felt that the lack of communication was really poor. I would also suggest thicker duvets and extra blankets during the winter months.
