Fonn Na Mara

Great location for us. We were there to play golf and all courses were half hour drive or less. Didn't really use the kitchen apart from having tea/toast in mornings but kitchen had everything you would want. The view from the living room window is stunning & the dark sky in the area provided an incredible view of stars. Difficult to "rate" the hosts as we never met them but messages/texts were answered quickly to ensure we didn't have any problems getting into the property on arrival.

Only thing that I would fault is the electric shower over the bath, however the shower in the other bathroom was great so we both used that.

The view was great. Facilities was very good, everything you need in a holiday house.

Bathrooms had rotten hair in the plug holes which hadn't been cleaned for ages. Black mold around bath and shower tray whic was ground in and hadn't been scrubbed for years. Dust in corners and on skirting boards which should have been cleaned. Cupboards in kitchen were dirty. No sheets or light blankets for warm weather.

It was home away from home for us. Nice little cottage with one of the best view of Isle of Arran.

Location was fabulous and the view from the lounge was great. Off road parking, quiet spot with everything you could need.

Shower could be more powerful but nothing really disliked.

Very disappointed as the property was not clean.The beds and bedding were spotless other than but the rest of the place could and should have been cleaner.
