5 minutes past check in time I received a very rude phone call from Nanette cancelling my booking as she had double booked. I asked her to contact booking.com and was told very abruptly that she was busy and she was telling me and then hung up

the location was spectacular it was very clean and had everything you needed. It does make it look like it is on the beach though which it is not

There was no welcome book to tell you a little about the house and area. The cooker didn’t have any indication on the dial as to which switch was oven or grill it was very difficult to cook on. It would help to have a little info on the village e.g. if there was a shop, bar, cafe nearby.

Excellent view across kilbrannon sound

I felt that the shrubs below the house were becoming a bit tall - and were beginning to interfere with the view from the splendid lounge window. Because this view is the special feature and attraction of the property - the owners should consider trying to trim back the bushes
