"Comfortable, well-appointed, spacious accommodation ideal for a family gathering."

10.0

Ideal for a family gathering by hiring the Hayloft and Gamekeeper's cottage. Spacious enough for all adults to eat together in either cottage, and we also enjoyed eating in the sunshine on the patio around the fire pit at the Hayloft. Lovely grounds with facilities for outdoor games. Top quality furnishings, towels and bed linen.

Complex hob controls which we found difficult to use even following the manual, but we mastered it in the end. Pity there was no recycling facility - we took it all home to recycle.

Tranquil setting

Sadly the kite stairs were impossible for someone with a disability and you had to go down concrete steps and up others to get to seating area in garden described as a cottage but actually part of the house.

A lovely house in a great location, 5 mins from local town and a stones throw from the lakes. Generous size king bedrooms. Fully stocked kitchen, provided different spices, eggs and even brownies from a local bakery! Space for 2 cars

The wifi in the master en-suite bedroom was a little weak but there are boosters in the other rooms so they are fine

A great place to stay. Clean, warm and beautifully done inside. Ann and Martin were extremely welcoming. A peaceful escape in wonderful grounds that makes a perfect base to explore this lovely area. Also a friendly welcome in the local pub with great local beers.

Nothing! All was good 😎

"A perfect retreat and a base to comefor an escape into the countryside with your two and four legged friends."

9.0

Spacious and perfect for our two young dogs who enjoyed the enclosed private garden who let off some steam after a few hours in the car. The history of the Hall worth a return visit to explore more.

Nothing.
