A Perfect Hideaway - Lake Tekapo

We liked the proximity to town, so we could walk if desired. Also appreciated two bedrooms for two single ladies and the laundry facilities.

Unfortunately the construction in front ruined half the view but at least there was no active construction while we were there. The twin bed was not comfortable.

It is a beautiful peppery and easily accessible to the lake and the shopping strip. Very comfortable and the staff was amazing and accommodating

Very clean and new. Good view, can see a bit of the lake. Location close to nearby attractions.

A bit expensive. Will not stay again at Lake Tekapo, day trip to avoid over pricing accommodation.

The accommodation is modern and stylish. It can get a bit cold in the morning but plenty of heaters and a wood burner if you want to use it.

The view with the building site next door featuring scaffolding and a portable toilet really spoiled our initial impression of the property. We booked back in April and there was no mention of the disrupted view and although there are now some additional photos and a revised description that didn't help us as we had already booked. The reason for booking this property was the position and view. The cleaning could be better as the main sofa had debris between all the cushions.

Loved it for small family. Plenty fire wood and great view plus nice and quiet. Definitely would book again for skiing.
