Spacious, clean and comfortable

The accommodation was very homey. My partner was even impressed with the total package the place has to offer. The property may not offer a direct view of the lake, but it still provides a glimpse of the Southern Alps. It is not a bad thing, as I would happily pay the amount I paid rather than paying twice or three times the price. Lake Tekapo was also just a 3-5minute drive.

The cosy style and kitchen

The property is in a lovely quiet residential neighborhood close to the heart of town. The room itself was spacious, comfortable and clean. The room had all the comforts of home to make our stay even more comfortable, even a heated toilet seat!

The place was very clean which was lovely, and warm.

Pillows were really hard No curtains in the hallway which looked straight into the bathroom from the outside. Not user friendly to get access into this property from the car park, we were in unit C which was down the back , we had to climb over a large rock to get onto the pathway tiles, which were covered in snow a week after the snow, so had to walk on the shingle so we wouldnt slip, anyone with mobility issues wouldnt have been able to get there. The snow could have been cleaned off the pavers, the snow storm had been through a week earlier, no snow in sunny places, just round the back in the shade. There was a large telescope in the small living area, no instructions, so didnt know if we were supposed to use it,or how to use it, looked quite complicated it stood about a metre high and 500 wide. so rather large for the small living area, perhaps a couple of comfy chairs mt be better.
