Tussock Ridge - Lake Tekapo

The fireplace is EXCELLENT - love the Woodsman brand it had the house super toasty in no time. Showers were good pressure and the place was very clean and tidy. Plenty of blankets and pillows. I liked the small milk which was supplied when we collected our key - enough for a couple of cups of tea!! Loved the games, books, dvds and puzzles etc in the hallway cupboard - great for a family.

Only small trivial things affected our stay - there was no salt and pepper (but there was cooking oil, herbs, spices etc), and one of the toilet door handles was loose. Nothing really to complain about!

We like the property because it was clean, perfect location and has everything we need.

It was too hot to sleep in the double bedroom rooms during the day and early evening. It would be great to have extra electric fans to use. The airconditioning is not enough for the whole house. The frying pan is too small but enough for eggs or bacon but not enough if you want to cook other foods for family. Pans and wok should be replaced because some have rusts already.

Lots of room, great view, showers were amazing with high water pressure. Came with everything you needed even hames for the kids.
