Lovely old school beach house ... a bit dated , but cozy

Only sea view from the roof which was not great especially with the beautiful beach in Paternoster

Ryno was extremely accommodating, kindly allowing us to check in earlier than the scheduled time as we were trying to avoid the heavy rain. He was also very responsive to our questions throughout the stay and warmly friendly at check-out. The location is excellent, and the house is well-equipped, spacious, and beautifully and homely decorated, making for a very comfortable stay.

If I had to mention a few small areas for improvement, they are fairly minor and didn’t take away from the overall stay. The screed flooring does make the house quite cold, especially in the main living area. The wall heaters in the bedrooms helped a lot, but a bit more heating in the living space - such as a gas heater - would make it even more comfortable in colder weather. We did make use of the fireplace, which was lovely, although it does leave a lingering smoke smell that required a bit of extra washing afterwards. The top deck has a beautiful view, but unfortunately we couldn’t fully enjoy it due to the rainy weather. It also appeared a little untidy at times with bird droppings and rain debris. In addition, a few small touches around cleanliness could be improved, such as ensuring glasses and some glass candle holders are properly cleaned and free of marks.

A fabulous house, lovely location and so well equipped with everything you could want and tastefully decorated too. Ryno was very attentive and made sure everything was up and running for us. Will definitely want to return, thank you

Overpriced for where and what it was. Bed could have been better. It was cluttered. Second shower a cubicle. No en suite shower for main bedroom. Only three table placemats. Knives all blunt

Fun interiors, well equipped kitchen, great viewing deck, enjoyed the bath in the main bed room, friendly helpful efficient staff

Not the best area in Paternoster, although to be fair within walking distance of everything, the exterior gates were hard work, they need to be fixed / maintained properly, chunky thick wine glasses not really what you want to drink quality wine out of

The property manager, Ryno, was very easy to communicate with, readily available, and answered questions promptly. The view from the roof was lovely, and we enjoyed watching the sunrise from there. The waterfront is a very short walk from the house with lovely shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed going to Jolly Roger with its excellent pizza and friendly staff. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

Loved the location and decor, and really appreciated the kindness and responsiveness of the hosts. It was fantastic!

The house was comfortable and clean with sufficient equipment in the kitchen. The games/toys and books were also a nice touch to keep everyone occupied in between visits to the beach and restaurants.

There were a number of the sunken ceiling light bulbs in the open plan lounge/kitchen not working, particularly in the kitchen which made it quite dark to work in. The chandelier lights above the dining room table did not work at all. The bedside lamps in the twin bed room were not plugged in so we had to pull the beds away to look for the plug socket which we eventually found behind one of the head boards. One of the lamps next to bedroom with the shower en suite did not work. The opening and closing of the driveway gates was a bit of a struggle, particularly when the wind was blowing strongly.

Location was great, the use of space and quality of kitchen equipment was great. The rooms were great sizes and bathrooms good. The upstairs area is lovely with fabulous views.

Struggled with the entrance lock to front door, the 2nd shower door leaked and puddled not he bathroom floor, The house is very damp, if anyone has health issues affected by the damp, i would reconsider. The outdoor shower didn't work.
