Casa Azul - Ocean View

Da localização - super tranquila, serena e calma; da vista para Porto Moniz.

Quando entrámos na casa cheirava bastante a humidade e a mofo. A casa é bastante húmida. A limpeza também não estava incrível.

Casa in posizione splendida con vista oceano splendida; arredamento molto carino e presenti tutti i confort possibili.

Nulla, segnalo solo che la strada di accesso è molto ripida come del resto succede spesso a Madeira.

Host was very understanding and apologetic regarding the mold. We initially booked 4 nights but left after 3 due to the smell of mold. She stayed in touch with us long after the booking to make sure we were refunded accordingly. Very honest and trustworthy. I hope the host can get the issue fixed as it is a BEAUTIFUL property and very well located. The house is located on a extremely steep hill, which is pretty scary the first time you drive it, but you get used to it - no problem for us Canadian drivers :)

Be aware of the strong mold smell. I read this in other reviews and thought "It can't be that bad!" well it is! As soon as you open the door you are hit with a very strong smell. At first you think you can get over it but after a day or 2 its unbearable. The wall behind the kitchen must be covered. Everytime you open a kitchen drawer/cupboard it reeks.

Fantastic location over the town of Porto Moniz, waves breaking azure and white on the rocks and the endless ocean. The villa is spatious, cozy and tastefully decorated. Even plates are by Vista Alegre. Three cheers!!!
