The Hop Barn

The property is surrounded by orchards, has a small lake and a secure paddock for dogs. The hosts were absolutely lovely people. I felt myself relaxing as soon as I arrived. Within easy reach of restaurants, pubs and shops, all a short drive away.

Leaving, I could of stayed longer.

Beautiful location and extremely comfortable barn with great hosts.

Lovely place, well equipped, welcoming hosts, handy location for us (visiting Sissinghurst, Scotney, Hastings/Battle, Great Dixter).

Slightly cramped bedroom and shower - but fine for short stay.

I could have done with some fly spray as there were a couple of whoppers buzzing around !

Super comfy barn with all the facilities you could hope to find. Attention to detail was amazing and loved the character and decor. The hosts were wonderful and couldn’t hope for a better stay.

Some instructions for appliances hard to find or not obvious, mirror for use with hairdryer inside wardrobe didn't find it immediately small problems really.

Meet the owners to collect the keys

Not keen on memory foam mattresses and found sleeping a bit difficult. Duvet was very warm for the time of year.
