Surin House

Great well equipped house .

There is a construction very loud in front of the property. and also open gym on the back side.

. Good access to local beaches and excellent local restaurants. Host was very attentive.

Property was OK but a bit tired. Lots of construction in the area and a gym directly behind so some noise in the mornings but super quiet at night.

I booked a room in Surin House for the older children who arrived for a few days. I was guided by reviews, plus the place was close to our hotel. The children were delighted with the size of the room and the presence of everything necessary for a comfortable stay: there are wardrobes, a large refrigerator, a kitchen, each of the two bedrooms has its own bathroom, of course, excellent Wi-Fi! The owner met us and showed us everything 🫠 - he came to clean with his own products and quite thoroughly. The main thing is that he was always in touch 🙏😍 I am very grateful to him for the fact that he takes an adequate price for housing 10 minutes walk from the sea. And I hope to return to Surin Hause more than once! 🍍🍍🍍

I was staying there for a week with my dad as I was attending a conference. This was perfect for me as I could make meals but was also close to shops, massages and places to eat. The kitchen was well equipped. The host was super helpful and lovely, and it was cleaned regularly.

Loved the space. The house was huge. The pool is nice. The staff we saw were great but it’s not 24/7 manned due to the property type. Me and my Mrs have mixed views on this one. I really liked it. It had character. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen ment we could eat cheaply. It’s about a 10 min walk to Surin beach which is an amazing beach. There is some construction work going on in the area and there’s no sea view or anything but the pool is nice and the gardens are kept nice. There were pool toys to use and beach toys to borrow. Reminds me of an old fashioned French chalet.

Mrs wasn’t keen on the location but I liked its authentic Thai neighbourhood feel.

- Great location, close to the beach and main road. - Quiet, despite the nearby martial arts gym – no disturbance. - Private parking. - Clean pool with a separate shower. - Spacious rooms with comfortable large beds. - Nice lounge zone outside

- Difficult to cook or eat due to ants everywhere. - Pool water is harsh on the skin and has a sour taste. - Air conditioners blow directly on the bed in the standard setting, which was uncomfortable. - Only one kitchen sink worked. - Coffee table was falling apart. - Many mosquitoes outside. - No TV with smart features. - Mold (a little) and ants around the sink in shower room. - Bed linen may have holes due to ironing.
