"Lovely cottage, difficult road with a small car"

The cottage looks better and larger than in the photos. It shows that every piece of decoration was chosen with care and the host was helpful and sweet.

We knew that the road to get to the cottage was tricky, but we did not expect for it to take that long. Going to Aquila Private Game Reserve, it took us approximatly 1 hour.

Beautiful surroundings and staff was very helpful. Love the house ...

Small little things that can be fixed... The plug is faulty where the fridge is situated. Small milk sachets can be provided.

Beautiful location, and a fantastic little wagon with all the amenities you could need. The bed was super comfy - we were wonderfully toasty in bed on a very cold night.

The 'donkey' water heater takes two hours to heat up and I had to leave in the morning so I wasn't able to have a shower. No sure if a solar heater would be possible though.

"Best camping spot we have been to."

Best camping spot we have ever been to. We stayed in the gypsy van which has everything you need. It is super spacious. Very clean, very well designed. We did not get hold or cold. The van is very well insulated. The van is also very well decorated. Lots of fun things to do around the farm.

We did not stay long enough to explore ever6ything properly. It is a regret that we have.

"Very enjoyable stay."

The cottage ('Honeybadger') was great. Location superb, nice hiking from the front door. Dog friendly. Excellent wifi and the solar lights and gas cooker/fridge gave no problem. Close to Aquila game reserve.

Only slight issue was the drive in. To be fair, there had been extremely heavy rain 2 weeks before, and we were alerted to the problem by our host, who offered to transport us to and from the cottage. But our 2wd SUV made the ~3km OK.

"Exceptional"

Hilarie was so accommodating of our needs. She was friendly and hospitable and the only down side was the weather. It was absolute value for money. We all enjoyed our stay. Can't wait to go again when the weather is warmer.

There were absolutely no dislikes! It was fabulous!

"Good"

Honey Badger cottage was cute, comfortable and secluded. Our host welcomed us en route to our accommodation to personally check us in and give us a tour of the facilities. Rangers Reserve is definitely a getaway to just breathe, take in nature and reboot the soul. Definitely a must visit when wanting to escape the bussle of City Life.

We were thrown off by the solar electricity as once it went out, there's no lights, fridge or wifi.
