This place sets the standard really high. Great location, very very comfortable. Nice little touches from the host as well as her being there to assist at all times. The cottage is just stunning and very close to Newcastle.

"An excellent stay in a perfect cottage not far from the local village and Newcastle town."

We were met by Jan upon arrival and had a lovely stay at Tuck Mill Cottage, it was very clean, cosy and comfortable, especially the huge bed. Jan was very helpful and even provided a welcome gift of freshly baked wheaten bread, butter and homemade jam for our stay - tremendous!

We should have stayed for longer!

Jan is a wonderful host who takes great pride in her beautiful cottage. My first visit here without my dear hubby but it is still as beautiful as it was on our first visit 5 years ago. Thank you for all the goodies and hopefully I will be able to return again in the future. Thank you for a lovely restful break.
