Tuck Mill Cottage

Cosy, home from home experience. Location was great to explore Newcastle and nearby attractions. Jan was very welcoming and an exceptional host. The property has every amenity you would ever need for a staycation. Thank you also for all the treats including delicious homemade wheaten bread and jam!

Perfect base for a week near the Mourne Mountains. Very comfortable, clean and lovely hosts.

Be forewarned the door to the bedroom is on the short side so if you have a tall spouse you'll want to make sure they watch their head. We actually bring tape to hang from the door jamb as a reminder (because we've run into this issue several times in Europe 🙂)

Everything - would return in a heartbeat

The size of the appartment is larger than we thought. Comfortable carpets to keep your feet warm and a hearty pantry with a homemade wheaten bread just made our day. Jan is very friendly and helpful with her recommandations. Loved our stay there. :)

Nothing serious, just the location is a little difficult to find in the beginning.

Very quite, lovely and clean, bed was exceptional, lots of provisions, home made bread was left for us.

Only fault I could give was no baking trays to use in the oven.

The scenery and the cottage is just outstanding!

The cottage was lovely and Jan was very friendly and a generous host, we loved the welcome basket especially the homemade wheaten bread and jam. The view from the cottage over the Mournes was stunning and the bed was large and very comfortable. It was a very nice place to say as there was lots to see and do in the area. We could recommend this cottage to anyone.
